Carrboro is a happening little town sitting right to UNC/Chapel Hill and sharing the same school system, but that is about all they have in common.
Carrboro has a population of approximately 19,000 and is rumored to be one of the most densely populated towns in
North Carolina.

It’s known for it vibrant arts scene with numerous artists and musician of all types proudly calling Carrboro home. It also has a lively restaurant and food scene and is home to the Weaver Street Market in the Carr Mill complex. On any weekend morning this area is one of the social hubs of the town and you’re likely to find all sorts of things going on there and countless people visiting friends, enjoying a bite to eat or drink, and in general it’s a very friendly and welcoming introduction to the Town.


Real Estate prices tend to be among the most expensive when considered from a price per square foot perspective, but then few towns can claim such honorary titles as “The Paris of the
Piedmont” or “The Seattle of the South”. Prices for Single family Homes, Condos or Townhomes range from about $110 to $500 per square foot and you should be prepared to pay $150 - $250 per square foot for most properties inside the city limits. The closer you are to the town center the higher the prices are likely to be as Carrboro is consider to be one of the most walk-able area around. 
Carrboro is hip, funky, diverse and centrally located, and is very progressive politically. It has a wealth of cultural attractions typically only fond in larger more cosmopolitan cities, while still maintaining it’s small town charm.
