Hillsborough- Full of Surprises!

Located 10-15 minutes north of the center of Chapel Hill, this historic town is beginning to really grow as well.

Like Chatham much of the area just outside the center of town is more rural, and with homes sitting on acre plus lots; prices here tend to be a little less than Carrboro or Chapel Hill the range being from $100,000 - $1,000,000+ and the average single family home is presently around $250,000.00

There are many smaller artisanal farms producing organic fruits, vegetables, dairy and cheeses, and for epicureans like myself truffles.

With easy access to I-40, Chapel Hill, Durham, RTP etc, it's easy to understand why Hillsboro is being discovered by many relocating to "The Triangle".

Looking to keep horses, have a small farm, or simply enjoy a smaller town feel while being close to major medical centers and the offerings of world class universities; then you'll want to be certain to add Hillsborough to your list of places to check out.
